Sheryl Underwood, an American television personality and comedian, is most well-known as anchor on The Talk, a popular talk show on daytime television. Sheryl Underwood, born in Arkansas, was raised between Little Rock and Atwater. Sheryl comes from a troubled family. Sheryl was a part of her life helping her younger sister Frankie with polio. While growing up, Sheryl had many problems with her mom. Sheryl says that at one point her mom cut her father due to his proximity. Sheryl joined up the military right after her graduation from her college. Her passion for the military was comedy. The show was named the first ever female finalist of the Miller Lite Comedy Search, held in 1989. Her TV career started in 1992 as a actor on the HBO comedy series Def Comedy Jam. She was the host of the TV show Oh Drama! in 2000. Then in 2011, she started participating in The Talk as co-host. She has also appeared as the fictional character in TV shows like Bulworth Nicki and Beauty Shop.
