Summer Glau

 Glau's first television credit was as a guest on the ballerina in the 2002 episode of the TV series Angel. She was discovered by director JossWhedon, who eventually made her the character River Tam in the critically-acclaimed TV series Firefly. This role she also reprised for Serenity's feature film sequel. Glau was previously a candidate for the part of the role of a Power Ranger (White Wild Force Ranger Alyssaenrile) in Power Rangers Wild Force but was unable to beat the actress Jessica Rey before meeting Whedon.Glau appeared on the episode "Love Conquers Al" from the TV series Cold Case. She had a small role in the movie Sleepover where she played high school senior Shelly. She was also featured on the CSI: Crime Scene Investigation episode, "What's Eating Gilbert Grissom?" " The second season of The Unit as Crystal Burns (the girlfriend of Jeremy Erhart). Glau was Tess Doerner (a paranoid, Schizophrenic returnee) in season two of The 4400. From season three, she was a regular character. Glau also appeared in Mammoth the horror comedy. Glau played the role of The Initiation of Sarah, an ABC Family TV movie. Glau played Cameron Phillips as a Terminator-infiltration team that was sent back to Skynet to defend John Connor (and Sarah Connor). The seventh episode of the series, "The Demon Hand", featured scenes in which Glau (as Cameron) dances ballet. Glau also played Allison Young (Cameron’s human doppelganger ) during episodes from the second season, "Allison of Palmdale" and"Born to run". Glau also starred as herself in a CBS episode of The Big Bang Theory's situation comedy.
